50 minutes in, Already got trapped
50 minutes of playing and got to the hub apartment for V and found out if you close your stashes door you cannot open it, becoming trapped before having to go to sleep. Lovely. Dropping a save and reloading fixed it but so far my hopes that the game is playable has lowered some by experiencing that.

Edit: This is due to the inner button inside the stash closet being bugged. Had someone mention that this information is very important to include. I assure you, I clicked on that inner stash button many times with the door not responding but at least it closed the door.

That sucks. I've put in 40 hours with 2.0 and had maybe two crashes and that's about all. I hope you get it sorted out.
I do hope as well. I need to get back into the game when I can and experience it no doubt.

I heard about this and gave it a try...yup, can't open the stash room door from inside. Fortunately I quicksaved before I did this.

The door to V's H10 apartment no longer closes automatically...I always forget when I leave and I find it _very_ disturbing to return home to find it open. Fortunately, nobody has stolen the cat yet...

OK so I fiddled around a bit and you don't have to stay stuck in the stash room:

1. outside button only opens
2. inside button only closes
3. after opening the stash MENU inside the room and closing it, the door automatically opens again (can have a couple seconds delay)
4. after that, both buttons seem locked for at least some time, with the door being open
5. if you go to the shower (distance-based, i guess), the stash door automatically closes (sometimes, the button on the inside will then display "open" and can't be used to close the door)
6. you can then repeat the steps from 1. to 5.

Seems to work every time, so just open the stash menu and close it again to be able to leave the stash room :praisesun::praisesun:

Speaking of trapped. There’s a ripper in Dogtown who’s right next to his door out of the building and the dialogue prompts love to stop you from accessing the door.

Well OP would have said this, that the button was bugged. There is literally no reason to leave that out that information, as it is an obvious variable in the situation.
Ah sorry that I didn't state that the button was bugged. My fault. I assumed that people would have noticed that you need to push the button to open the door, then push the button on the inside to close it. Guess I expected too much and should have been clearer on every detail. But now that the details have been cleared up you can join us on this bug discussion.
Hey it happens, sometimes a simple topic is hard for some to put into words. Glad you found the bug subforum, I'm sure with that context you may have better results. Good luck.

I closed myself inside the room and yeah the button beside the door doesn't actually respond to any input. It lights up like you can press it but doesn't actually do anything. I tried opening and closing my stash a couple of times and still no response. Had to go back to an earlier save.
