Game is install on an NVME M.2 SSD
Garuda Linux using Proton Experimental
After the release of the new DLC, the game uses 80-90% from my CPU, which leads to game crashes, even if i set all graphics on low.
My GPU is used to 0% from the game (i have read, that this happens when the CPU bottlenecks the GPU)
The location does not matter, i tryed old loads on different areas, but the CPU goes up
Before the DLC, i played more than 300 hours, with settings from high-ultra, without any problems!
- I have a Geforce RTX 2080 and a i7, 8700k.
Windows 10 and the game are on my Samsung M2 SSD.
-I did not change any pc settings ever, except things like monitor time out, nightmode and volume, since iam not experienced in it and fear doing wrong things.
- GPU temperatures are around 60C° / 140°F and CPU around 50°C / 122°F.
- I even played the game between 2.0 und liberty update without crashes (but have not looked at the CPU and GPU usage)
- all drivers are up to date
I would appreciate everyone, who tells me if they have the same problem or have solved it :)
That sounds more like you're using the embedded graphics on the CPU, instead of your graphics card.
