Game not using full gpu
The game doesn't seem to fully use the GPU.
The GPU usage is fluctuating between 60% and 90%, most of the time its around 75%.
CPU usage is between 50% and 80%, so i'm not getting bottlenecked there.

I get around 70-100fps, lowering graphics settings has little to no impact, it won't give me more fps.

Specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x3d
RX 6750XT
NVMe SSD
Manjaro Linux, Kernel 6.1.53-1, KDE Plasma Wayland

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes?

#edit: This doesn't happen on other games either, they always use like 99% of the GPU, so it definitely seems like a bug in CP2077

I'm having the same issue with the new update. Changing the graphics settings down doesn't seem to change the performance to be any better. GPU won't go above 70% usage and CPU usage is the between 50 to 70%. Thermals are not an issue either. Game runs around 60 to 70fps but has massive drops down to 30 to 40 fps at random times, before 2.0 update I was able to hit 120 FPS at times depending on my settings. Other games I play right now seem to be just fine.

Specs:
5800X3D
7900XT
Game is install on an NVME M.2 SSD
Garuda Linux using Proton Experimental

I'm having the same issue. It updated to 2.0 + PL and now my GPU sometimes is only utilized 30%. Usually about 60-70% tho. It's almost like the performance is capped at 75fps but a very unstable 75fps. Whether I raise or lower settings, it stays at the same bad FPS. It's the strangest thing.

just bought the game, running horribly on my high end PC that should be able to handle the game at high or ultra no problem. I am on low settings and still cant get more than 20fps and the input lag is the worst ive ever experienced in my life. Been troubleshooting for hours and nothing yet

Well your GPU usage is between 60% and 90% higher than mine...

After the release of the new DLC, the game uses 80-90% from my CPU, which leads to game crashes, even if i set all graphics on low.

My GPU is used to 0% from the game (i have read, that this happens when the CPU bottlenecks the GPU)

The location does not matter, i tryed old loads on different areas, but the CPU goes up

Before the DLC, i played more than 300 hours, with settings from high-ultra, without any problems!

- I have a Geforce RTX 2080 and a i7, 8700k.
Windows 10 and the game are on my Samsung M2 SSD.

-I did not change any pc settings ever, except things like monitor time out, nightmode and volume, since iam not experienced in it and fear doing wrong things.

- GPU temperatures are around 60C° / 140°F and CPU around 50°C / 122°F.

- I even played the game between 2.0 und liberty update without crashes (but have not looked at the CPU and GPU usage)

- all drivers are up to date

I would appreciate everyone, who tells me if they have the same problem or have solved it :)

This is weird, I have R7 5700x, RTX2080, 32gb RAM and no problem in 2.0/1.63/.....

I have a 3070ti and 5800X3D on PC, low gpu usage at 1080p weird tbh, I have to go to the desert area to push gpu usage at 99% for sometime then once back to city in crowded areas It is back to 65-85% gpu usage and fps drops. Irrespective of settings, at lowest settings gpu usage is 50% and cpu usage is 50% whereas in Max settings with ray tracing it is what I mentioned initially gpu usage hovers around but never consistent 99% and 100% and cpu usage is around 30-50%. Post 2.0 problem

This issue still persists for me after the 2.01 patch

That sounds more like you're using the embedded graphics on the CPU, instead of your graphics card.

I have the same problem. Everybody talks about bottleneck, but my processor is pretty ok for rtx3070. I already spent a week of trying different things. Nothing help. My GPU and CPU Usage are so unstable, but mostly both are 40-60. There are some areas in game and indoor locations where it gets 80+ with 90 fps. But in the city fps droops to 40 sometimes when u drive. Anybody found the solution?

I turned off DLSS and now GPU usage is stable 80+, on very heavy parts of the city it gives me mostly 60+ fps, so ig the best option we have rn is turning DLSS off.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, that fixed it, GPU usage is at 99% now all the time.

I will try it after 2.1 update. I just hope maybe they will fix some of the optimization issues

I have an Nvidia 3090, I fixed it by uninstalling Nvidia app / Geforce Experience, it has happened to me several times. I don't understand why Nvidia doesn't fix it."

What do you mean by the navidia app? I am having the same issue.

The Geforce experience is optional and it can be deinstalled if and when it causes issues. You then use the nividea stand alone driver and nividea configuration screen to set things for games and programs
