Relic's glitch screen effect is always there! ! !
After the relic failure, its special effects have always been there, and the screen has been flickering and shaking slightly. Restart, Save and Load, and reinstall cannot restore the normal screen!

Relic malfunction bug
I just passed the mox cloud mission and the relic malfunction wont go away. I've done 2 quest after the that one still bugged. This is on a fresh install and new save. Anyone know how to fix this?

Please just patch out the relic malfunction effect, Hours of staring at the glitch screen with this bugging and never going away is really hurting the game.

Can confirm this will 100% fix it. Pretty damn silly that we still have to mod around this glitch, since it's one that launched with the game originally too lol.

This bug is there since release.. before 2.0 save and reload fixed it. LOL

I have this super annoying bug as well.
I've read that you can make it go away by going underwater for a bit.

Saving/Reloading won't fix it.

Edit: Going underwater doesn't work; the only way to fix it is to install the mod.

Reloading a save from before the bug started fixed it for me.

specifically the Johnny one at the end of the optional files will fix it.

Yeah, it seems like it's a bug which has been reintroduced with 2.0. From other threads about it, looks like the workarounds no longer work either (eg alcohol or other ways to force a change to effects). Would bug report it and wait on fix (if you can't play through it).

It is playable, but the endless flickering and shaking of the screen makes my eyes very uncomfortable.

Some people have suggested this mod can help with visual glitches (I've not used myself): https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9209
