In game HDR Setting?
Have an OLED AW3423DWF monitor, windows HDR calibrated, using HDR 1000 mode. Anyone have suggestions on in game HDR settings? Have peak brightness set to 1000, tone mapping 1 and paper white at 100 based on a GamingTech youtube video I found.

i've been using the default "2" setting for tonemapping, should i use 1 instead?

GamingTech video made it sound like higher than 1 would cause raised HDR black levels. Mine was 2 at default as well. Need to play with it more...

okay so i actually played a bit with the black floor sdr fix but i have to say, even tho it looks better at first, the game was not designed for it.
meaning many areas are too dark, hard to see intractable stuff and items and i often wish i had a flashlight so i ended up turning it off again

yeah, I also have a AW3423dwf since last week and it's crazy how dark it gets with HDR1000. HDR true black actually gives me a brighter picture.

make sure you use hdr10 pq not scrgb because its broken on this game and doesnt give an expanded colour space. only hdr10 pq does. also, 1000 on the slider is not actually 1000 nits in game. it is much higher. see here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKThK63kYj0
