GAME DOES NOT START

Upon starting the game, I get a missing or corrupted file error and when I check the crash report, I get this error

Error reason: Assert
Expression: result
Message: Failed to initialize scripts data!
File: E:\R6.Release\dev\src\common\engine\src\baseEngineInit.cpp(1022)

Its probably something very simple to do but id rather ask the people first

Cant start the Game since update? update 1.62

Played yesterday, today i updated and it doesnt even start. immediatly is there a warning of missing or damaged scirpt data. However does steam repair not help. turned all mods off and somehow does my malware program say, that cyberpunk isnt safe just since now. someone else has those problems?

I got crash in loading screen after patch. Yesterday game worked fine, now i cant open it...
I cant load my save when im with hanako in Arasaka tower (ending).

Are u using RE4Text? If yes, wait till he updates it.

Most people got the same problem. Just look up the active player numbers on SteamDB, they are even getting lower right now. There is something really really wrong.

Had same issue, the update re-enabled cross platform saves, ie cloud saving. Had to disable this as it conflicts with some mods and had to disable REDMOD in the launcher

The thing is people have come to love this game, in part because of the mods, and well, they're not exactly well at the moment.
Fingers crossed in a day or two the mods will be fixed and a solid round of checking for updates will sort it.
Perhaps theye were expecting mod hell with this patch so rolled it out to get most of the bugs out of the way before they launch 1.7 and the DDL

This is why I fervently hope that Patch 1.7 comes out a few months before Phantom Liberty. There _will_ be bugs, and it will take a while until everybody gets straightened out.

I don't think that mods are the reason for the crash.
For testing I have renamed all mod folders (pc\mod + mods) and the game still crashes :-(
