Pyramid Song mission

Half way in the dive, I flat line, for no particular reason. How can I fix this issue?

Among dozens of other issue in this game, this particular one is bothering me the most.

There is a bug in pyramid song when you dive below ceartain depth you just get instakilled. Happens with and without mods.

Hello, II Hope you can help me, if I start the Pyramid Song Mission and jump into the water and go diving then I die immediately.
I've restarted the game a few times and loaded old saves but it doesn't help.
I keep dying when I go diving, maybe you have another solution so I can go diving with judy without incident.

It's only a 1.62 bug as people seem to suggest.. There is no real fix for it now, but there is a work around some dude have found:

its broke when they updated the game for overdrive there is a instant death barrier haven't found a fix or a work around people having been rolling back before that update it works fine and instant death on the updated version

Yeah, I have this bug too, especially annoying since I was finally starting to use mods and wanted to test the enhanced Judy Romance.... not really keen on the complex godmode and teleport stuff above. Kinda hope that a bug that breaks game progress is going to be adressed in the next few days....

I saw this discussed and went on to do Pyramid Song on a fresh game install to see what happened. But nothing happened...the entire quest worked, continued to work and ended without issue. Not sure what kind of bug it is, but it's not in my game anyway.

Tried reinstalling, starting without mods and such. Nothing changed. You dive in, follow Judy a bit and as soon as you go just a bit deeper it's instant death.

I haven't played that part of the game post-1.62 but my guess is that you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unless they hotfix the hotfix.

Currently, probably wait for a fix.
There was a hotfix a couple days ago, but I'm not sure what it was fixing. Something with the new shiny Nvidia stuff stopping the game working I expect.
Others are having the same issue with this mission and also with black screens on the endings too.

Pretty sure the hotfix from several days ago managed to break the mission. It makes you wonder what on earth they were doing or attempting to do that managed to impact the mission like that...
I think you might have to wait/hope for another hotfix

makes me wonder if they hired someone that used to work at EA (sims division)

so many times, i'd read the patch notes for sims2>sims3>sims4 games and then see how patching this little issue caused half the game to implode.

like when they added cars to sims3, and sims suddenly started having 'relationships' with their car....
i mean, its not even Delamain....

then sims4, an update that let sims have likes/dislikes turn on's/turn off's, like back in the sims2 (i think it was that one) broke the releationship boundaries, so premade sims started wanting to 'go steady' ect with relatives. (i mean blood relatives, not by marrage/adoption)

Yep, a game breaking bug ... needs a fix urgently... I really have no idea how a graphic related update destroys a quest, but apparently that is what is happening

Could be the flares.
Judy drops a good number of flares to keep the area lighted for you, so maybe Nvidia borked the flare lighting with their shiney new stuff.
