If you missed this one, set your game up now to protect yourself for future updates.
If you mod any game, do not allow auto updates....
If you had the game installed before the update, use System Restore. Go into properties for the game directory, previous versions tab, and restore from a backup taken before the date it was updated.
Thank you for replying. I think i screwed up by reinstalling because when I go in the game folder, right click select properties and go to previous versions, it says there are no previous versions available.
I am also an idiot and did not backup my original game directory before modding, so I suspect I will have to either wait until the mods update or try a fresh install with no mods in a new directory. Even then I may have to go into user/appdata to delete leftover files I think.
It doesn't matter if you uninstalled/reinstalled as long as the game was installed in the same location (path).
If you aren't seeing any previous versions, you could be low on free space – Windows will purge restore points to free up space for new stuff.
hola tengo un problema e echo todo pero al iniciarlo me pide que lo actualice y no me funciona el comando de jugar ofline alguien que me pueda ayudar
r6/scrips
red4ext/plugins
archive/pc/mods
And I update tweaks, archive, red4ext, and worked for me. Now I can play with all the others mods that I have (that don't need mod settings)
You don't need to play offline. Let it update first, then revert to the previous version using either System Restore (see #8) or the steps listed in the OP.
There's no need to do either. Just run the game normally. See my comment in #6.
