So. I have critical error when i open game from steam, after launcher i press "start"and then game will try smth load about 5 seconds, then game crash.

stacktrace.txt have this:

erm, this thread was old 1 year.
My problem from last patch. I played all my time 160 hours and didn't have any trouble. But today i cant.
Have lastest nvidia driver. will try to update c++ and directx but.... i have ths -...-

upd.: no it didn't fix it.

I normally perceive the information, but the guy clearly does not understand the essence of the problem, and I do not understand why he is still here and trying to help.

Steam discussion is better for me, for try to ask some ppl who already faced the problem.

All of the things he suggested are alright, there still wasn't an excuse to be rude.

Anyway I did some searching around by putting your error code into google and a lot of different fixes cropped up.

Overclocking seems to be the biggest cause from what I've been reading, if your clock speeds are too high it can cause the game engine to crash.

Corrupt driver installs are also a reason. Doing a complete clear with DDU and then reinstalling the latest graphics driver might also be a fix.

Edit: I see your thread has also been moved to the correct forum, I did tell you that you'd put it in the wrong place.

all basic method like close any other app, and re-install some drivers and etc (include use DDU) = no effect.
but for some guys help close MSI afterburner.

btw, u did some searching. Fast searching. I try to launch this game for 2 days and have no positive result.

ps: all game works fine, and bf 2042 in ultra. Didn't understand about cp77, mb problem in 1.61 and need w8 next patch or hotfix, but didn't see any patch for this error.

btw i think it can be problem with RAM, because

that can be RAM, firewall, viruses. But for 1.61 patch all was fine with game -..- confused. will w8 wned CD project RED will answer me, and will edit that post

#Mai Hasegawa did you try set Steam overlay off and set both Cascade Shadow Range and Resolution to low i guess this settings bugged on mid and high because the game engine try send incorrect settings to the ram and then to the videocard but the card cannot understant the wrong code and crash it.

i try min quality and max quality, but game can't run. I didnt see menu in-game, because crit error close game before any startup videos.

Will try steam overlay in future, but i think it's CD Project RED with same patch with Wither next-gen -...-
