try skip launcher
--launcher-skip -skipStartScreen
Using your launch options only meant that I got to the crash quicker. The crash occurs within the first second after starting the launch.
It's also when people report crazy framerate drops in 1.61 and others say nothing's changed it's the exact same but the menus are finally fast... if we get those people to go and whack the hidden AppData .json related to Cy77 let the game re-create it and then they reconfigure settings, <poof!> suddenly all that missing performance comes back.
So if you have gigabit or don't mind waiting a while, go on and fully uninstall and manually kill any files in <home dir>\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\, and if you go the full uninstall route but are worried about your saves, (you shouldn't but backups are good) they're in <home dir>\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\ if you want to make some backups.
There's another goofy one where you didn't have much free space, like <80 Gb, and the d/l and install didn't fully finish the update patching, and you're stuck in a partially installed crashy flatlining mess. The easiest way is the same as above, uninstall, remembering to remove the hidden files for a truly clean slate before the re-install.
Sorry for the work it takes, but it does work!

.... Classic....
1) what's that got to do with what they said, other than "game cant launch" why not create your own thread?
and 2) I think you are confused, with the implication of that snarky "classic"... RED4ext is not a CDPR tool but a reverse-engineered protocol format with Octavian's Windows hooking tool build in, RenHook...
For reference... REDMod is the official modding framework, RED4ext and CET are user-created modding frameworks. And not to be left out is WolvenKit which will, if things go well, take on a be-all/end-all middleware role between any and all modding formats for all files for REDengine! It's very ambitious, if you have coding skills, please follow.
RED4ext knows they need to update. since it can't possibly run if they rely on hooking because the code entrance address point will change with every single compile, unless they embed some discovery code in their mod... which is difficult since there's no way to forecast what CDPR will include in each patch/update.
There is already a v1.9.0 update for 1.61, and you don't even have to compile it yourself, which I'm guessing you are very happy about. https://WopsS/RED4ext/releases
