Gig: Welcome to America, Comrade bugged 1.5

For whatever reason, I can't actually place the tracker on the car as the prompt won't appear. Tried various angles, even pushed the car out of the container, reloading/restarting, nothing. I did visit the mission area once before the mission started so maybe that's caused it to bug out? The area was empty bar for cameras which i disabled, looted some containers and left. I also tried earlier saves but no difference, I think those saves are still from after my earlier visit to the mission area however.

I searched prior to posting, some people reported issues with the mission not completing when you had completed in patches 1.1-1.3 but my issues are different.

Is there a way I can use the console to just complete the mission or something?

I noticed the same thing but did eventually get to place the tracker by being well back from the car.

I had this issue as well. The prompt actually appeared after I backed away a foot or two from the container (I was placing it from the rear end of the vehicle).

Been trying to do it from a distance and at different angles/locations now for 30+mins, I don't think that's the solution to this specific bug. This mission is blocking my progress with Regina :( and if I just blow it up to fail the mission i'll probably miss out on the legendary reward for completing her quests.

The reward you can scrap for a few legendary components in act 1 or sell for about 1000 eddies, or if it applies to your build you can save it for 10+ turns until you level up so it's usable.

It is, i did that mission last i played, same thing happened.

1.31 worked fine, in 1.5 its bugged and you only get prompted when standing quite a bit away from the back of the car.

Angle for prompt to appear is very weird in 1.5 tbh
On my first playtrough on 1.03 version I had no such issue

Yeah at times I can't interact with some police scanner boxes/bodies. Seems the interact logic is broken.

Same issue but like others I managed to place the tracker when standing back from the vehicle. Obviously my V has arms like an Orangutan

u kinda need to stand back abit. had the same issue when i was to close to it ^^

I can now even blow the car up, mission won't fail and it respawns but still can't place the tracker standing back or otherwise. Can't even fail the mission anymore. It also now lets me open/close the bonnet so I can interact with the car somewhat, but I can't drive it either after trying to push it out of the container.

If anyone has a solution that isn't just telling me to stand back, would be much appreciated since that isn't my issue. Would the Cyber Engine Tweaks mod allow me to complete the mission with the console?

I have this bug on current version, but in my case I remember going here early (before mission spawned, so before I finished all Regina's first set of gigs), seeing trigger in the air near empty container, pressing it. Seeing another trigger, pressing it again. And now, when gig is actually spawned, I guess they count as triggered so don't appear but don't count toward mission completion.

The interaction point was about 50cm behind the car and somewhere at the height of its trunk for me.
