Can't enable Redmod mods

Pressing the enable mods button simply turns it back off after a second. The first time I tried using it, it gave me an error about a conflict so I tried to fix it, but whenever I tried to restart, it just turns off without any message now.
I have a few mods installed.

I found out that clicking the enable mods button and then quickly pressing "Play" while the button is yellow will enable the mod dialogue and seems to work.

It means you have a detected mod conflict. Try and find some mods that might have some similar/duplicate, corrupted, or incompatible changes/scripts and disable them. Once you figure out which mod is causing the problem, it should allow you to keep the setting enabled. In my case, I had a weapon balance overhaul that was conflicting with another mod. Once I disabled this mod, I was able to start up the game with mods enabled.
