Before starting game you need to delete directories
"C:\Users\Windows 11\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red"
"C:\Users\Windows 11/AppData/Local/GOG.com"
"C:\Users\Windows 11\AppData\Local\REDEngine"
Without them game starts correct. With thouse directories game crashes on start with error EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
I hope this solution may help somebody.
Also to disable any overclocking or undervolting. This game appears to be very temperamental when it comes to this. I previously undervolted my cpu and the game would crash more than usual and quicker. Sometimes it would even freeze the pc and make it restart. I've since disabled undervolting on the cpu and no problems with the game.
Since after doing all of these, haven't had a single crash.
bruvvvvv I love you, absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ legend mate. How did you even figure that out? Or just random guess?
Then at one point when I was quitting the game, the game crashed so badly that the PC restarted. After that it started crashing again with the Access Violation error, always shortly after sarting up and loading a save. I wiped the DX12 cache again and since then no crashing again.
I guess I'd recommend this as the "first try" solution as it's very simple and uninvasive.
This appears to have fixed my crashing issue as well with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005) in Cyberpunk 2077. Thank you.
