Game Disables Steel Series Keyboard

I literally cannot play since the update with a steel series keyboard, the lights will flash on it after a minute of playing and the keyboard will be unusable until I unplug and replug it in, and then after a minute the same thing happens. I'm sure it's to do with the Chroma control cancer that they've just added. Is there any way to force it off?

Update: I completely turned off the lighting on my keyboard and it has been fine for 10 minutes. Leaving this up for anyone experiencing the same problem.

I'll have to give this a try, it's been super annoying having the input get stuck until I unplug/replug.

Sadly disabled the lighting and same issue within moments it froze still. Guess I can't replay it.

Also got a Steelseries but did not encounter any problems yet. Apex 750 TKL.

Apex 5 is fine on latest firmware and software, no issues here. What model is yours?
