Does HDR tank the fps?
This is the first time I used HDR, and it's not as high as it would normally be.

Generally no, most games render in 16 bit color to begin with and then tonemap down for your display. Generally the only time you would see a very minor fps loss (and latency increase) is if the pipeline renders it to 6bit+frc SDR and then back to 16 bit before going down to 8bit HDR. I doubt they do this in redengine4, its a pretty modern engine and I would bet anything the original assets are HDR anyways.

That being said, Windows 10 and 11 are very, very bad with HDR and most monitors cannot support it properly anyways. It can cause a lot of bugs.
