CRASHING AT "QUEEN OF THE HIGHWAY" Panam Side Quest/ Basilisk Driving Test

Does someone have a clue or have the same problem with me, coz whenever i try to do this quest my game crashes when im about to fire the basilisk, my screen frozes for like 3-5 seconds then poof crash. Anyone know how to fix it? It would be a really huge help.

You most likely have a buggy mod. I had the same problem as you and when I uninstalled ALL mod files, the crashing stopped. Idk which one solved the problem since I deleted all of them at once, but you might want to start uninstalling your mod files. Just pressing the gear icon's switch doesn't work.

For me it was the let there be flight mod. Disabling it through vortex made it work.

Quite a necro-post here, I know, and I believe this mod didn't exist at the time of the OP, but I have found from my own experience that the Browser Extension mod here, https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/10038 , was the cause for me in this mission freezing at this same described place. Posting for those who still get the freeze and would rather not remove *all* of their mods for this one gig.

I just wanted to add a note as well, The Panam Romance-enhanced mod will crash the game when you pass out from the relic.

Disable it and you shouldn't have an issue, and hopefully, you don't have to go around uninstalling all the mods.

a year later and this mod is still causing crashes!! grateful for your post bc you just saved my playthrough and i hope this helps others as well
