Never Ending Combat

Sometimes I get into combat and it never goes away until I close and reopen the game from a save file. Anyone know a way around this?

It's a bug, I've also had that issue. Closing and re-opening the game is the only fix, until it gets fixed.

Stop getting into it with NC cops. You can typically fight your way out of it with any of the gangs, but if the cops are chasing you, they just keep coming.

Not cops dude, a simple fight bug. You fight enemy npc's and sometimes the fight flags doesn't go away.

Sometimes it even happens from just driving past a conflict.

what happens if you yank someone out of a vehicle and just drive off, does it go idle after you get a few hundred meters away? Also? JUST DIE! heh seriously though, die, to massacre civlians til the cops come and then don't fight back too hand, die, and load last checkpoint. It resets these kinds of things about 60 of them from weapons stuck firing like your mouse button broke to literally all kinds of crazy...

Just save and reload that very save and combat mode should go away.

So I did a couple things to try and figure this out. I first experienced it after mowing down a crowd of corpo citizens before killing a horde of police and a team of maxtac... lm assuming that the "memory wipe" quickhack may do something but I havnt tried it. Just give your game some time to autosave and then load back to your latest save. BUT heres something fun to try with this bug, call your personal vehicle and then open your stash from the trunk, then push the button that you use to jump. 👋
