"User profile is corrupted and cannot be saved"
Since re-installing the game after patch 1.5 I get the message on start-up "User profile is corrupted and cannot be saved", which also prevents me from manually saving the game (but autosaves, for some reason, still work fine).

Has this happened to anyone else, and have you managed to fix it? I've tried checking the integrity of local files and everything's fine, had a go at uninstalling and re-installing, uninstalling, deleting *all* the CP2077 files on my PC (included saved games) and re-installing again, and none of it's made any difference.

I'm not fussed about getting my old save files back, and haven't had a response from the CDPR technical support. Will take any and all suggestions to get my ability to actually save the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game back.

if anyone is running into this issue with version 1.5 of the game, just delete the file "user.gls" in your appdata

Users Settings data is corrupted and cannot be saved, HELP!
Tried everything at this point and it just does not seem to work, deleted everything including all mods and user.gls and everything from Appdata folder no idea what else to do.

Try a full reinstall, including the removal of all files and folders except your game saves.

If that doesn't work you may need to redownload your saves from the cloud as it's probably the metadata.json file.

I have done everything at this point I can't even play the game because it crashes after a few minutes when a save tries to happen. What can I do or should I wait on an update??

Game has been stable since 2 weeks after launch on PC, this is a YOU issue.

Verify the integrity of your game cache and try restarting.

Delete the file for the config, thought I'm not sure what it is, could be "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\options.json" but don't delete it completely as it may not be that file.

But before that do a full reinstall and remove all cyberpunk files except your save games.

This really isn't helpful.

13 million people can play the game and you can't so you are blaming the game?

That person is trying to help you. The problem is at your end because most people ( I don't want to say everybody ) can save the game just fine. So something is messed up at your end. Without including your rig's specs it makes it more difficult to give advice.
I would suggest:
-verify game files
-make sure all your graphic settings are on low to start
- make sure all your drivers are up to date.

I hope you find out the problem. Good Luck and Good Gaming !

Yes, do verify game cache. Also, did you use any mods that messed with your settings?

Did you come back to the game after a long break and load an old save? That would be the only thing I can think of causing corrupted saves. I've done 3 full playthroughs, one at Release, one at 1.3, and one at 1.5 and each time I only reloaded saves that I knew lead up to the next patch.

I don't see where he blames the game, can you pinpoint it to me ? I feel stupid.

It isn't my save files that are the issue its when I save my settings as in my graphics in game and such it will say that settings can not be saved due to corrupted user data or something like that.

Don't worry I wrote it and have no idea what he means.
