Crash under Linux with 1.5 - Looking for solutions

1.3 was running fine under Linux/Steamplay. Now, 1.5 crashes more or less immediately after clicking play.

If anyone has good suggestions or solutions, please post here!

I tryed Proton 7.1 GE-2 it seem to work with out a problem, and I use a nvidia card if that helps any. https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/tag/7.1-GE-2

I tried this couldn't get it to work. Also tried proton experimental, and 6.2. I am on pop_os! 21.10. Also tried playing audio in the background, I basically get the error that everyone on Windows is saying disable Nahimic to resolve.

running Fedora 35 ( 3900x kernel 5.16.9 and nvidia 2080TI driver 510, proton 7.2 GE2)
after patch 1.5
1. had random flatlines upon pressing play at launcher. launcher sometimes turn full black only with no interface
2. my razer wolverine controller lost vibration functionality
- things i have done is delete (user setting.json and cache folder) at .local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1091500/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Appdata/Local/Cd Projekt Red ( restart game so it will rebuild the files)
-now it plays but the random black launcher still happens, still no controller vibration

Damn, I am on Manjaro Gnome, should be any problem vs pop os, One more thing I am using steam in a flatpak. Not usre if steam in a flatpak does something or not.

you can skip the launcher with --launcher-skip in the steam launch command.

The other problems you have no sure, I don't use a controller for the game n don't have a wolverine to try with so not sure there.

Start some YT video with music or whatever first, before launching the game. Not joking btw.

I am also crashing on Linux, I tried all the tricks, nothing works, the odd part is I have 2 machines both running Kubuntu, latest kernel/drivers etc.. machines practically identical software wise, but very different hardware, game runs fine on one and not on the other.

I tried playing some music while launching - does not work.

Then, suddenly, it launched once, no music playing, nothing. It ran fine and as it should. Now it is back to flatlining.

Same here I tried everything listed, udated my drivers, re-installed the game, playing a video in background, switching my audio setup, even launching the game without anything pluged in, I'm clueless.

H! Possible solution: Open Pavucontrol (Pulse Audio Volume Control) before launching Cyberpunk. Suddenly it launches every single time for me.
