"A lack of empathy" gig bugged?

I finished the quest and collected my weapons from the storage.

However, in order to collect my reward from the drop box, I had to put my weapons back in the storage box. Ok, fine. So I did that, collected my reward and went back to grab my weapons.

Now, every time I remove my weapons from the box the quest/gig reappears and its only condition is to store my weapons.

Anyone else get this?
