game wont stop crashing
I've tried everything including a fresh reinstall, restarting my pc and altering settings. The game just wont stop crashing at various points. It seems to be once I get to a certain point of the game, eg. 1.3km from meeting Panam. No idea what to do next to fix this issue.

For about the last day I've been getting a crash that seemed like distance traveled at first, but it's seeming more and more like it just crashes with a certain amount of time passing. It came out of the blue too, and now it just keeps happening

Yeah it's so annoying, I have no idea what to do to fix it. Followed loads of tutorials n stuff but nothing working

Same, but it seems it randomly popped up after the patch and was just waiting to happen, as if it generates errors for the GPU and the GPU doesn't know what on earth the info it's being fed is and just crashes

I'm testing something now, I deleted the game's cache folder and verified it, now I'm gonna test to see if it happens again

update: it crashed even quicker this time lol, walked from quick-travel spot to jackies place, got to the green-lit stairs ish, and it crashed

I had the same thing happening, crash every ~5 minute. Found this on support.cdprojektred.com/ "Make sure you did not change the clock rate of your GPU and CPU. Any kind of overclocking or underclocking may result in flatline crashes".

After changing back to default values (Core clock and Power Limit) everything seems fine, no crash the last hour.

(CPU is still overclocked, only reset the GPU)

I got i5 6600k and gtx 1080, both not overclocked, and game installed on a samsung 950 evo ssd (sata)
The only thing that helped me not crash every 5 minutes (or even every 1 minute) is to set population density at medium and turn on slow hdd setting even if i got the ssd. Let me know if this helped

Don't have clocking on my GPU, only turned up temp-limit (which it cannot reach prior to it crashingg lol), and even without it.. it still happens exactly the same

I get random flatlines from 5 to 20 mins, The latest graphic drivers stop working and recover, but the only way i can get past the CPR loading screen is by restarting my pc. I have adjusted all the settings either off or down as per various guides, and no improvement so far, at this point my pc has been restarted more time in the past 3 days than it has been in the previous six months.

RTX 2080 super FTW3 Ultra, (not overclocked)
Nvidia Driver 460.79.
Windows 7 64bit (which maybe a factor)
Purchased on GOG.

it's so annoying to have had it run perfectly prior to the patch (granted after the nexusmod fix) only to have it get a lot more bugs afterwards

Just out of curiosity.. we wouldn't ALL happen to have MSI Afterburner running right?
I just closed it and didn't get the crash anymore (at least for one session just now)

Having the same problem with drivers crashing but for me it is always when i am looking at mirrors otherwise it runs pretty well.

Bump. Same. No solution. Tried all of above.

Adding in: during a Cyberpsycho hunt, tested multiple different walking paths, and it seems as though within a certain proximity to the area where I killed the Cyberpsycho (who got bugged in some stairs and I landed ~50 headshots on), is where I can consistently crash the game every time.
