scrolling during through menu items or dialog options is really wonky, only scrolls a tiny bit and only if you move mouse in direction of scrolling; wheel click (for tag) doesn't work at all
looking at similar reporting issues, i guess game has problems with any kind of "custom" input-controller software
Can confirm the same issues with programmable keys. Especially the Middle Mouse button not working is what makes this unplayable.
But man, that's stupid.
How hard is it to get mice to work in a first person PC game? Kinda crazy. I hope they fix it sooner than later...It almost gives me motion sickness like feeling when expected actions produce inconsistent results...like trying to use VR with a wildly variable framerate.
Just deactivate the Smooth Scrollin in Logitech Options , apparently thats the main Problem

Changed the XML and switched mouse off-on. It works, at least for middle click.
For keys 4 and 5 probably need to find their own IDs, if need be.
Basically, download and install the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre, go to the Scroll Wheel settings and *disable* Accelerated Vertical Scrolling.
It started working for me after that.
