How do I acquire iconic quickhacks in Phantom Liberty? [SOLUTION FOUND?]
I know this sounds like bait, I promise it's not, but I think my game might be bugged.

The wiki says Sammy Taylor (the netrunner vendor) at the EBM stadium sells them and that they can also be found in Dogtown cargo drops, but I've played all the way through Phantom Liberty with three separate V's and found absolutely zero iconic quickhacks. Iconic weapons and cyberware, sure, but no quickhacks.

Last night I decided to experiment for a bit and wait around 24 in-game hours multiple times (for roughly 30 real-life minutes) to refresh Sammy's shop, but the iconics never appeared.

YouTube has been of zero help and the wiki required immense digging before I could even scrounge up the smallest of information.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to progress to a certain point in the DLC? Does it have anything to do with me playing on Very Hard? Am I just notoriously unlucky??

Solution found!

Alright, so the game doesn't point this out or make this obvious whatsoever, but I believe you have to be level 50 or above (and potentially need to have met Reed) before iconic quickhacks start to appear both at Sammy's booth and in Dogtown cargo drops. That's what happened to me at least. If anyone else happens to bump into this issue somewhere down the line, here's a possible reason why. Happy huntin' choombas, give Hansen hell.

Might be. I'm currently level 49, I'll come back and update this discussion if the issue has been solved.

Reached level 50 and went back to Sammy Taylor and refreshed his shop a couple of times. Still no sign of iconic quickhacks. :(

You should probably get random iconic quickhack dropping from doing hacking now, at least.

I've never bought quickhacks except for in the vey beginning of the game, I think, so not sure where to buy them. I do seem to recall that the young vendor in Dogtown (probably Sammy Taylor you mention?) had some, though, so it sounds strange.

Just keep cracking the data panels. Eventually they will show up.

I'm lvl 60 with 50 street cred. i cannot buy any iconic quickhacks at all. vendor doesn't sell them, i have tried waiting for 186 hours or a week now and the stock is exactly the same, zero legendary quickhacks let alone iconic.

Seriously...just keep cracking the data panels. Iconics never show up in the netrunner stores. Do you have any Tier 5 or Iconic crafting patterns? You might find it helpful to buy the Tier 5 Quickhack component crafting pattern from Yoko in Kabuki Market, or the guy in Japantown.

FYI: you don't have to meet Reed, just get above 50+.
To buy Iconic Quickhacks, I believe you can only do so from the vendor in the Dogtown stadium. Also... all of this implies, if this isn't obvious, that you need to own Phantom Liberty.

Don't worry, I do in fact own Phantom Liberty. 😂 I'll go ahead and add a disclaimer, thank you!
