Counter attack timing is jank and ass
First time playing a melee build so I never really interacted much with the melee mechanics until now and I just have to say it, the counter attack timing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insanely bad. I can't believe these are the same people that made the Witcher 3. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ embarrassing.

Well, it's no Bloodborne. I don't really use it. Punch, ram, slashy-slashy seem to work fine without it.

whats jank about it? its like the easiest largest "parry" window of any game ive ever played by a mile lol
id like it to be tighter like a souls game but it works fine its just imo far far far too easy lol

that being said the mechanic is basically never needed for anything its just there as an option lol

I don't bother with it either. Regular fast attacks, the more the better. No d-fence.

Can counter everything in the tutorial without problem, try to do it anywhere outside it will do the animation and prevent the damage but will still play out as though I got hit anyway.

it seems bugged because it used to work fine before 2.0 and now I have never seen it actually work despite trying it consistently.

honestly you cant go more than 60 seconds in this game without encountering some bug. its getting pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ old, and 1.6 was NOT like this.
