Helping NCPD no longer possible...

Anyone else having this same problem?

In the past you could join in a firefight between the NCPD and criminals, and the cops would thank you afterwards. Now however, if you try helping, the NCPD just tries to kill you too. What's even more infuriating is that even if I just stand there without a weapon, but a criminal aggros me, the NCPD again tries to kill ME. I tested this multiple times, and what seems to be happening, is that if an enemy aggros me, and then also shoots at the NCPD, I get a wanted star, and the NCPD try to kill me.

This also happens with guards outside the Afterlife.

So, if you think you can run to the cops/guards for help when a group of gangers attack you, similar to many other RPG:s like Skyrim or Starfield, don't. The NCPD just want to join in and kill you too.

There's something really broken with the AI currently. CDPR, please fix.

If anyone has had the same problem, I would appreciate it to know I'm not alone. Thanks!

yeah sometimes it works out to when i would help the gangs kill other gangs but yeah i agree the cops are always out to get you, i try to walk across the street whenever theres a group investigation with the cops, also a glitch keeps happening where i commit crimes, kill cops even and i wont get stars.. it sucks because i live sparing with max tax and it keeps glitching out to where i wont get a wanted star at all, i literally kill cops in front of other cops and all they do is stare at me or walk away lmao

i have a video of me shooting a coo and tea bagging then in front of other cops while they watch and do nothing haha its so glitched, all the bugs that were replaced were just replaced with new bugs it seems lol

Yeah, it seems the new police system still needs some work. The patchnotes for version 2.01 didn't mention them fixing this bug yet, so we'll have to wait and see.
