Hmm thats strange, she gave me the option to split 50/50 while cutting out dex, and i had the option to roll with it. Didn't go down that path, but considering what happens later (don't wanna spoil) i doubt this specific decision has huge consequences.

at that point, you have two choice, "think about it" or "stick to dexter", if you chosse think about it, this is no follow up later, not to mention the later, did you really manage to kick dexter out?

Considering how the story progresses Dex is necessary to trigger some essential event. So yes, cutting out Dex is just flavour if one wants to avoid calling it a blatant lie. It just adds some lines to V's lines with Jackie and Dex.

He shoots V which activates the BioChip which triggers the whole Johnny Silverhand story and impending doom

I'm actually not changing the subject.... I'm saying that you can accept evelyns offer to backstab Dex OR can go for the option to report Evelyn to Dex....NEITHER of the 2 will actually happen because of events that follow.

The option to cut out Dex comes after you've done the BD scouting the penthouse in Lizzie's. Once you follow evelyn she will ask you to do the job for her and no1 else, cutting dex out and go for a 50/50 splitt. (You'll have to straightup accept this offer and not go for the "I need to think about it" option because you won't get a chance later)
The option to report evelyn for this comes when you set up prep for The Heist in The Afterlife bar in the secu-room. You can straight up mention to Dex that Eve wants to cut him out.

Neither of them will actually happen.

Again; it doesn't matter considdering what happens after though and the choice doesn't affect your gameplay later....

By choosing to "think about it" before keeping Evelyn's offer hidden from Dexter, you're technically accepting the offer. It's just that neither of these options actually matter anywhere because of motel, junkyard and car chases.

You just need to not jump when your cover is blown so you can actually complete the mission and cut dex outta the loop.

That way there's no johnny silverhand story and game ends after a few hours for obvious reasons.
