What guns do you prefer using?

by guns I mean type, Pistols, Submachine guns, Shotguns, Assault rifles, Precision Rifles, Snipers rifles? Blades, or Blunt?

Blunt def looks interesting if nothing else for the ability to heal on a hit.. But slicing limbs off would be pretty sweet.

Mantis Blade due to my Blade , Stealth and Cold build ability to heal when the mob is bleeding to my fast attack, more defense when I am moving, takedown continuous heal and using poison buffs due my Mantis blade has poison buff being amplified by Stealth perk.

Mantis blade is an interesting weapon. I don't need to carry katana. Mantis Blade strong attack makes me gets closer to a mob even I missed then use fast attack were my Blade build shines.

Silence Pistol for stealth, I can do a ton of damage while stealth but as powerful a netrunner but I can slow time if someone detected me due to my cyberware.

Homing Smart Assault gun if I am going guns and blazing but it is my underpower weapon due I don't invest on Assault perk. Also It seems conventional assault gun is more powerful due landing a headshot is quite difficult.

Tech charged Sniper if anyone watch Arnold Schwarzenegger's Eraser movie. Using Infrared or tagging a mobs able to shot mobs in a wall. Making cover pointless for a mob.

Sadly it's buggy, I cannot shoot or fire this gun sometimes. I need to reload my saves or I need to drop this weapon and pick it up in order to make this gun works. Also sometimes it doesn't give assault perk.

Gorilla hands due I didn't invest on Body attribute. Getting one shot by boxing arena quest now w/ my Gorilla hands my heavy attacks can knockdown a mob.

I usually focus on stealth and take-downs but when I have to shoot I much prefer a high base damage pistol over anything else. They pack a punch, with flexibility at different ranges.

I am using Nash's Widow Maker Precision Rifle for most stuff. I just like precision rifles in this game...they are like long range shotguns and all the bonus iconic stuff on Nash's weapon is sweet. When I want to go silent I have a silenced Lexington Legendary Pistol...the insane fire rate coupled with the "Remove Vertical Recoil When Aiming" mod makes it like a full auto sniper pistol...lol.

My final gear was:
* Johnny's revolver
* an iconic AR (Can't remember the name nor where I picked it up and the flavour text doesn tell me much
* Panam's Sniper
* Caustic Mantis blades

I want with a technician build and lost myself in side stuff to level up.

I settled for tech guns and smart guns.
Shooting though walls is incredibly broken haha.

And you can finish whatever with spraying smart smg and hacking.

Had to switch to hard and now it's too easy.

Enemies still one shot me though if not careful.

It's hard to dislike tech guns. My favorite moment in the game was to score a double headshot with the tech revolver (which has a terrible spread haha) - so i nailed 2 perps straight in the head without doing it on purpose of course, one shot... THROUGH A WALL! - love these things.

I'm still having trouble deciding on a build, not sure if I want mantis blades or gorilla hands. Both seem very powerful once you get a few points into the tree.

Slicing limbs off would be sweet, and seems a bit more of a hinderance than a 30% chance to stun (if an arm is gone, it's gone)

After some playing around and savescumming, I dont think Mantis blades are for me.. the attacks dont feel right.. So I'll go with Gorilla hands for now..

Though would the Monowire count as a blade? That might be interesting.

Personally I avoid melee if I can but thats because I am a very squishy hacker :P
My favorites so far are:
1) Silenced rapid fire pistols (I think the one I am currently using is Power)
2) Tech Sniper because through the wall headshots are wonderful with Ping & Tagging
3) Smart Shotgun... because a shotgun that doesn't miss with any of the pellets melts the lunatics charging me with melee weapons

running a smart legendary sniper with 1500 dps ( totaly retared amount of dmg ( 600k+... ), with a shotgun for cqb and assault for medium range.
