Do I bother that V is just a nobody? A little bit because most of his friends left him but my V's had over 3 million eddies on his account and can buy the best apartment, the best car and would still have over 2,5 million in his pocket. He could live with this money, travel the world or just invest the money in some business.
What bothers me most is that his friends left him. Okay, Judy has a reason. Even if you play as a female V (which I didnt) I would understand the reason. Victor ist just a ripperdoc. He cant fight an entire corpo. He was afraid of his life and did what he had to do. But how Panam behaves just confirms my opinion about her in the base game. She is a 12 years old emotional instable girly with the butt and boobs of a 25 years old model. V made her the boss of the Aldecaldos, he risked his life for her and other Aldecaldos more than once and she doesnt even want to say good bye on the phone because she is "hurt"? Like cmon girl, my V was in a coma. He didnt bang half of female Rio de Janeiro for the last 2 years.
Now I will restart from the point where I have to decide to give her to Reed or send her to the moon and see myself if I went the right way for my V.

This is what you get if you helped Songbird. Also, on the train to the shuttle, one of Johnny dialogue is "what she is doing, she deserved respect". And that is good enough for me,shot Reed right away. And after the credits, Johnny will also commends that Reed "nobody will remember this kind of person, he will died in line of duty sooner or later". Which implied that in the future Meyer will use Reed again and he will died in one of the mission anyway.
Also the NUSA ending is what you get for bowing down to the system in Cyberpunk universe, a nobody and no friends. Let me reminded you that, through the entire game you fked with the corpos, and the gangs. Do you think they wont make their revenge against V since they are now a normal person? Militech motto: Militech does not forgive, Militech does not forget; straight out from V's mouth himself. SO you picked NUSA ending = sure you are cured, but you are still walking dead-body.
Far as I can tell, you loose all your money, cars, apartments... The Lot.
No matter how many eddies you had in your account, you are broke when you wake up
Your apartment/s are auctioned off, as are all your stuff (even Nibbles... Thankfully, Rogue buys Nibbles, anonymously)
So... No swanning off to 'see the world', no living in your apartments, no hanging with Judy or Kerry (since Judy is married, and Kerry got over you) no leaving with Misty.
The Tower is the 'Naked Survival' ending, you loose it all, to survive.
(But its NC, so how long are you gona last with no gun, no money, nowhere to rest safely, no chrome, no contacts, no friend's to back you up and a body that's waisted away after two years comatose? The average gangoons farts in your general direction, your gona ragdoll like a hitman kill, right into a wall and flatline.)
This, and you made a ♥♥♥♥ load of enemies throughout the game. Good luck surviving when they go looking for revenge.
The narrative gives just enough to support or oppose So Mi or Reed. So Mi killed everyone aboard Space Force 1, wants to kill everyone in a stadium, and is a walking WMD. But she also is a prisoner and has the right to be free.
Reed wants to save his protege, protect his country, and stop a threat connected to the Blackwall. But he also helping to enslave his protege and has no scruples against killing anyone to do it.
Reed died because he pulled out iron and point it on V first while V was trying to talk the situation down. V's client, Song, said she wanted to go on the Moon, so she goes. Nothing could stop V to complete her Gig, unless over her dead body.
V would never accept the cure before settled a score with Arasaka, and would not allow Johnny disappears before clear the debt she owes.
To be a living legend was the best way for V to honour the man who would answer the question without hesitation. "Yes, I would take a bullet for you, Chika."
