I'm currently doing my third playthrough(corpo) and am at the part where I help Maiko take over Clouds. I know in the base game if I take her eddies that will lock me out of the rest of Judy's storyline, but something has me curious. As a corpo you get a flavor speech option where you call out Maiko for skimping on the eddies, and she actually seems impressed and asks V to celebrate her first day, with an increase to your reward.

Does this actually go anywhere(I know she's not a romance option, just wondering if there's an extra scene or something)? We know she also shows up in Phantom Liberty at Hansen's party, will this perhaps open up some conversation there as well? Wondering if anyone has done this since PL dropped just to see what happens even though Judy is such a popular character and I know most of the community probably wouldn't entertain the idea.

I've wondered this myself, if you can interact with Maiko in PL if you met her before. Perhaps I'll do this in my current game (female V). It might be like the choice you can make in Little Help From My Friends where you can rat out Panam to Saul.

I might as well since I have the game saved right at this decision now and my Corpo V is male, and have already romanced Judy in my Street Kid play through. Been playing him as a pragmatist, who is trying to make and maintain as many connections as possible as they'd be very useful should he survive and reach the ultimate goal of getting back in the good graces of one of the Corporations(will probably be knocking out both The Devil and The Tower endings on this guy). Would just be a nice little bonus to have that little nod from Maiko that she owes me.

But, I also expect it could be one of those thing CDPR didn't choose to expand upon despite having her cameo in PL.

Heh...there are more than a few things in the game that you just never discover unless you deliberately search for them...except how do you do that when you don't even realize there an alternative?

Ok, yeah so just finished You Know My Name and no acknowledgement. Kinda sad because definitely seems like a missed opportunity, even if it were only available to Corpos. But I will say I'm not surprised either because even though Judy's supposedly blocked me, I was able to contact her in one of the other Dogtown Sidequests with no issues.

For all the interconnectedness they did manage with Phantom Liberty, guess we can give them a pass on missing this one.
