The face cyberware from PL
Can you use it after the run this town gig? It never occurred to me to try. I would assume no, as you don't have the personality chip, but maybe you can? Seems like a fun mechanic that should be used more.

I believe you can use it to avoid the NCPD when they're after you (or maybe just lower the heat level, not sure), but that's probably all.
I never really used it after PL because you can only have either that or the camo equipped in the tool slot, not both, and I find the camo rather more useful (well, and I don't normally have too many problems with the NCPD either).

Thank you, I find that camo, Jenkins, and sande make for a great getaway option myself.

You can indeed still use it afterwards, though it's only main use is getting rid of any police stars of four or below. The only other thing it could be said to be useful for is giving an INT attuned damage boost.

I agree that it's otherwise a bit wasted in its potential.

My thought was use it to look like a guard or gang member to make gigs more interesting.

You could, from a roleplaying point of view.
Swap to a faction style outfit. Pop the faceplate. Do the gig.

Think there are/were a couple of mods that have a kinda mimic system going.

One was called 'Streetstyle' and it was a clothing buff/debuff system.
Was only up to 1.63 tho since it's function became kinda redundant after 2.0+

Not 100% sure, but I think 'the Gangs of Night City' mod has a similar 'mimicry' system now so you can sneak thru enemy gang turf easier by blending in. That mods still going thankfully.

as per description, it will help to avoid Police attention up to Wanted Level 4.
Which is understandable, because beyond that, MaxTac will be involved and im sure they have Tech to identify you even with the Mask active.
