I never found Alt Cunningham
Im trying to 100% dlc and base and thats the one achievement I fear I have missed. Every walkthru says I will do it naturally playing the main game but I am at "point of no return" did I miss something? I did use the DLC option to skip to act 2 so idk if that makes me skip the chance. Is there a way to do force the quest line?

You need to complete VDB storyline in Act 2

I know but what if I never got a quest with them?

Meeting Alt is part of the Mainquest. When you follow the Evelyn Trace to help yourself, its unavoidable to meet Alt. Check your Quests.... it has to be there.
After doing some deep diving turns out skipping option with the dlc skips that whole questline which means I Need to do act 1 sadly

weird... why would someone SKIP the entire Mainquest? Thats stupid.
I didnt know it would do that lol. I have played the game several times on playstation but when I got a good pc I got it on steam. Personally I dont like how much hand holding there is in act 1 so when I got the dlc and saw you can skip til after the heist I was quite happy lol.

If you go directly to Phantom Liberty, the unique ending there makes Alt and that quest line irrelevant. However if you miss that unique ending, you'll get shunted back to the main game and the VDB quest will still be available (?) Does the direct route indicate that you ever met Evelyn or rescued her with Judy?

If you pick the "skip to PL" option, the game simply assumes that you've played through the Heist (and all that entails, meeting Ev and Judy, the pickup, the Kompeki heist itself), and Judy's part of the the main quest (saving Ev, and meeting the VDB's and ALT).

All those quests are marked as completed. But nothing else. So you haven't done Panam's or Goro's missions, you haven't done any gigs, and you haven't done Judy's romance missions either (IE you've not met Maiko yet).

You basically just spawn into Pacifica as a level 15 character, with some very basic cyberware and gear, with the heist and Judy's side of the main quest marked as completed, and then you get Song's phonecall.
Wait -you're trying to 100% by skipping an entire portion of the game?

a LOT of players pretty much DEMANDED that they be able to do that in the expansion, or they wouldn't buy it, back before it actually dropped.

Plus, the op finished the original game on their playstation.
Probably platinum'd it there and it never occurred to em that jumping right to the new stuff would affect the achievements here.

4 or 5 times now, I have explained how to only have to do the heist once here on steam to folks who don't want to keep doing it.
Some, hate loosing Jackie again, others just hate being tied down to Watson.
Many of those are the same chooms who wanted to just jump right into phantom liberty.

Back when we just had a few deets about it, people argued about stuff.
What level will we have to be to start it?
Will it be a separate thing, like 'Blood and Wine' was for Witcher 3?
Do we start it after 'meet Hanako at Embers'? (lol)

We didn't know, but the forums were full of people who had already 100% the game and who *just* wanted to jump right into the new map, new quests and new endings.

Oh, I’m dumb. Somehow missed the part where the OP said they’d played it on PlayStation…
