Johnny is a hypocrite (spoiler!)

He killed a LOT of people and wanted to kill even more. He is responsible for an incredible amount of deaths through his actions too.

Now I "deleted" some 10 or so AIs and he is all whiny about it?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hypocrite!.

johnny is a myth, simple as that. Love him.
The whole point is that he change, V change him (as he change V) for the better.

Johnny is actually a terrorist. Kind of messed up he gets as much praise as he does. The dude commits mass murder because he doesn't like a certain business seriously? That is beyond evil and just plain absurd.

Hopefully in the next Cyberpunk since female V was the most popular by far enjoyed by the players. They do a strictly only female duo in cyberpunk 2. We had our male character stuff with johnny its time for a woman and woman duo in Cyberpunk!

Johnny wasn't the one who blew up Arasaka Tower actually. He is delusional, it was Morgan Blackhand

also, Arasaka isn't just business. Folks sponsor criminal factions (Tyger Claws) and abduct people (and kill them later on). It's not that black & white, and it's not just about Arasaka

Was it not johnny who gunned down Arasaka Security on the roof top and brought a bomb inside the building? I know arasaka had some shady dealings but not everyone who worked there was involved. You had innocent doctors, scientist, and people just doing their job everyday slaughtered because johnny didn't like the head of arasaka basically...

who are we to judge? V guns down thousands of goons and still there are dialogue options that go like "waaaah that's not who I am. Im not a murderer."

nope. the Johnny in our heads 'remembers' doing that yeah. but the Johnny who was at the AHQ was not the same Johnny.
Arasaka have changed his memories. he even knows they did *something*
'Did what they wanted with me' he says (if you actually talk to him one of the times you get scripted into a conversation)

Johnny Silverhand died on floor 120 of Arasaka Tower on the night of August 20th 2023, due to being ripped in half almost by Adam Smasher's weaponry.
he did not take a home made nuke in a duffle bag in with him, nor place it in the elevator, rigged to blow.

yes, Morgan Blackhand was there (he was leading Omega Team, Johnny was leading Alpha team)
Beta Team was the ones who had the briefcase nuke. They were Player Characters of the Tabletop game.
They were supposed to get to the basement, to steal the last intact database of world history, and plant the nuke then delta.
something goes wrong tho, and the last anyone saw was Adam Smasher and Morgan Blackhand facing off ontop of the tower, as they are evac'd away.
Johnny never killed without reason. Even during the Arasaka Tower bombing, he specifically made sure to issue an evacuation order so that as many civilians as possible could avoid the blast. He didn't have to do that, but he wanted to do that to make sure that as few innocents died as possible.

Johnny isn't objecting to killing the AI's out of a moral opposition to killing, he's opposed to it because it doesn't seem justified. Johnny asks you. "Would you kill a Cab Driver's kids for him just because you like him and he asked you nicely?"

Now Johnny is absolutely a hypocrite about many things in this game, but in this particular scenario he isn't being one. He opposes killing the innocent, and he sees the Delamain AIs as being innocent.
I was unsure, I did not like any of the options.
Combining them all seemed like a wuss out option, but I did not have it anyway.
Destroying the core would kill the main AI, which seemed wrong.
Of one the child AIs had tried to kill me, so I HAD a grudge. Yes I am that petty.

So, I did not destroy an AI which asked me for help and communicated like a grown up with me and I did destroy some amok running programs which might or might not be innocent new life forms but might be just a virus, who am I to know that?

Did anyone do the Symbiose thingy? Was there an interesting follow up? Spoiler tags please ;-)

yes, my main V (Valerie) always merges them.
yes, there are a few changes, depending on which of the 3 you picked.

you get what i call ether Ghestalt Delamian or Delemain Legion. he speaks with a compound voice (many voices at once) and he tells you it's hard to talk to you (understandable, he is many minds in one, currently trying to organise himself lol) but that he is leaving his firstborn with you.
And he's gona delta *back* thru the Blackwall (which suggests someone was naughty and dragged a baby Delamain from there ether before the Blackwall was built, or from *after* which is the kinda thing that gets NetWatch on your arse) and go home.

Doing the Symbiosis route Kills Delamain also. It also kills all of the Delamain children. You are combining them from many different personalities into one personality that is different from all of them. If you don't believe that this constitutes death, ENDING SPOILERS: then you should have no problem surrendering V's soul to the Black Wall at the end of the game since that's basically the same thing.
Johnny isn't even who it thinks it is. It's an engram with evidence of external tampering.

Unless CDPR gives us official stats of which V is popular, we can never know. Female V looks popular on the service but Male V could be the most selected to anyone that couldn't care.

After all, this is like another Mass Effect Trilogy situation where everyone thought Fem Shepard is the most popular Shepard only to find out that it was the Male Shepard that won by a landslide of being most played. So your biases aside, I wouldn't mind a buddy female character, whether I am playing as a Female V or a Male V.
Oddly one of the few times he is being real he put it simply and defined the actions has are you willing to take innocent lives just cause you where asked nicely to. Silverhand is many things but he distastes taking innocent lives

If you are referring to the Delamain quest, he is upset because he sees the variants in a situation close to his own. He also thinks releasing them will cause some chaos which he is a fan of in general.

we already have our woman/woman duo
FemV + Judy
(or FemV + Panam, tho you are sisters outside of fanfic/modded)

FemV is pushed by CDPR. in the marketing at least.
they put her in fortnite, not FemV and MascV after all.
she's in every trailer after 2.0, every image and every promo.

i don't think V is going to be in Orion because they want to do stuff they cant if they use V
(i say this as in i think they want to do more things. things they cant do if they use V.)
but its very likely you will be playing as a woman in the next game.
