About New Ending * Spoiler*
This sh*t is forced drama. I'm quite ok with no implants and cyberware, but the whole "all your friends now angry" thing is just bad writing. The whole thing happened just because we didn't say "I'm going for surgery". Especially with Panam. Simple voice massege could saved the 90 hours of journey we had together but no CDRP has to make it tragic as possible once again. Still great game and enjoy it like no other but I'll keep coping about this ending till Cyberpunk 2

in other words, you better stick to the panam ending if you want something close to a happy ending

I would say PL ending is the best one. Its the only ending where V lives, is healed and gets second chance for everything. Can change own life, clean slate, no need to be merc, can try do everything differently and mainly V lives. Once fully recovered can still do many things plus its nowhere said that in the future implants/cyber cant be implemented somehow again.

Crying about Panam or others is pointless, V knew them for few weeks while being in coma for 2 years. Ofcourse they would all move on and forget on V.

Panam ending is bad as all others, you dying in few weeks/months with no cure in sight. And going with Nomads into wild is far from "happy ending" to me.

"all your friends is angry" is actually very unrelevant in a big picture. During your life you move on, your friends move on. People you know for 2 months are not even your friends, they are just people. Especially Panam, not sure why you think she is able to act like an adult person.

So I wouldn't really make accent on this, it doesn't matter when you choose between alive V and a dead one. As a person who is terminally ill I had to experience a lot of anxiety and, let's call it "extra immersion" during CP story, and this ending while sad, is actually really good and first one that did not leave me broken inside.

No I get you, to me also this is the best ending. Its just that there is no solid logic for why it happened, whats happened with Panam and some others. Wish they had found some other and better ways to cut you off from old friends.

I think the story reason is that you can't tell her where you're going or why. Even if you did, at the point you message Panam prior to surgery, you have no idea how long it's going to take. For all you knew, it would be a 1 week affair. You say that to Panam (who is established as a "hothead" who holds grudges) and then disappear for 2 years... same outcome.

It might be unpleasant, but it fits with the story and characters. This outcome is meant to be a sacrifice for V. One strong theme from PL is selfishness vs selflessness. V's goals vs a greater goal or ideal. Songbird spells it out clearly in one of her endings. You choose to preserve yourself, moving mountains to do so, but you will pay a price. You live, but not as you once were. It's consistent.

Agreed. Dont get me wrong, I like my dystopian endings depressing with just a glint of hope. I like the "save your life/lose everything else" conclusion. But i expected better from the characters.
I mean, i guess its reasonable from some of them. But Judy? seriously? To ditch you like that? I know she's been through a lot and ♥♥♥♥, but still. 2 years isnt 20. Feels really out of character. Panam too. Like after all you've done for her? Feels weird. Thank ♥♥♥♥ for Vic. Sellout or not, al least he was there for you.

As we are in the realm of spoilers, there is a conversation you can have with panam soon after you hear about the potential PL cure, about it. Did anyone who got the cranky panam have that conversation with her?

I don't like the PL story or the PL story missions. For me, the only real way to play PL is to leave Dogtown immediately after entering it for the first time.

President dead and Reed and Songbird can go f*ck themselves.

But the good thing is PL doesn't change how much I like and continue to enjoy CP 2077.

don't know if it helps but some believe that panam could be dead,

if not well then just feels dumb no one was told updated? and v and friends never thought of anything on what to do if things go dark, given its also the future so commutations if anything should be even easier to get the word out + the amount of contacts fixers etc V would of worked with over Vs time,

look someone a lot smarter then me could prob put it all into better words then me but simply its bs but also isn't the worst video game ending or all time any of the endings even the ending were you just end up on a hard drive cuz even with that who knows maybe V could meet jackie again.
