The Lizzy Wizzy concert didn't have to be that good

Coreography was legitimately on point. I was straight laughing at the fact that this is in Cyberpunk. It's actually a great performance on itself.

It was frickin' awesome... I knew Lizzy was slated to perform at some point in PL, but I had no idea of when or where, so it was almost a complete surprise to me. Doesn't hurt that I really like the song too.

I wonder if CDPR planned the whole thing all along...and for how long. I don't know much about Grimes, but I believe she has some Transhumanist notions, so how much of Lizzy was intended to emulate her...well, it's a puzzle. Anyhow, it was an amazing throwaway addition to the game...a real gift from CDPR.

I think after the success of Edgerunners "Stay at your Apartment" and "Let You Down" video, and the success of "Grimes" video, CDRed realized just how catchy an ingame music video could be. I've heard of Unreal being used to make short movies, but doing a music event in engine seems pretty interesting.

Honestly this type of preformance could be possible in a decade or two in reality. With slow advances in holographics and image reflection tech in theme parks, its not too far fetched for a holographic and dimensional display around a performer. Stuff like this creates inspiration.

Kerry and Us Cracks doing a performance? A whole concert with the Samurai reunion? Full length performances of the Samurai cutscenes in Johnny's memories? Or how about the street buskers playing different tunes, instead of the same tune all the time?

Yeah...I'd pay a few bucks for that.

I wondered whether they were going to do something with the concert Refused had to cancel. They were going to do a live show as Samurai, with Reeves, for the launch but Covid restrictions meant they had to cancel that and their European tour.

It was, she was "tripped" by the holo hound that appears behind her

Was she? I will have to watch that BD again.

Okay, just re-watched the BD in V's apartment. I can see what the choreography was meant to be, but the wolf was not there when she tripped. She still had wings. It wasn't until she started "struggling" to get free that the world appeared and was seemingly pulling at her leg. Weird, but okay.
