Report a translation problem
Imagine thinking Jackie's the only good character in the game. I mean, yeah, ok, opinions on Johnny are split as deeply as the San Andreas Rift but what about Misty? Or Vik? Panam? Rogue? River? Judy? Kerry?
Or, for people who don't enjoy fleshing out their characters fully, it gives them just enough information to make it work.
I prefer backstories like this, versus the streetkid one, for example. The streetkid one has some details regarding their behavior that I personally did not like. There is no way around it, because V does/says what they do thus cements that behavior into their personality.
But, that's just me
