End of Arasaka ending

It would have been nice to have an end where V decides to put an end to the Arasaka family.

Like, lying to Hanako about joining her against her brother, entering the Arasaka tower, and then take advantage of the confusion to get rid of Hanako and Yorinobu. Cherry on the cake Michiko is also present and Saburo's engram disappears in the stride.

With all the leaders of Arasaka dying.

Compared to that 2 nuclear warheads in a small agency in a provincial town looks like amateurism.

You'll be a legend for eternity.

OK. That doesn't mean anything. The game puts you in that place because it is trying to push you into surrending to Johnny without you noticing it. They put you on the path to convince you that the root of all evil is Arasaka and that you need to destroy them to become a legend. That is how you actually become Johnny.

The game is a bit to binary about Johnny, he's suppose to be slowly taking control of V's brain, but during the whole game the chip only cause sickness you can "cure" with pills. V is never really losing her personality. Johnny stays someone else you can see and talk with during the whole game, at no point V or her friend feels she's losing control.

Then you missed the part of the story where Hellman explains to you how the Johnny engram takes control, because that is how he does it. You would not notice it. It would not be him winning arguments with you, it would be when you think the same as him so you stop having reasons to argue. You adopt his worldview and his decisions become what you believe to be your own
