There is a city in the tabletop lore, called 'Alpha City' its where many Netrunners settled.
There are rumours that they managed to save a couple of the kids Maximum Mike talks about in one of his radio talks in game.
(Probably a couple of Alchemists and Wizards. Classes from the cybergeneration game. They dropped most of that, but kept the Carbon Plague and its suggested a handfull of the cyberevolved survived)
So, when he talks about 'Techno Necromancers from Alpha Centauri' I think maybe he's meaning these folks. Kids who caught the Carbon Plague back in 2020 and survived, who got rescued and now work for Alpha City. They would be old by now, but I doubt they would be poor (so might have the eds to pay for longevity treatments, or new cyberware body upgrades)
There was also a set of sourcebooks for 2020 that dealt with 'alternate' versions of the cyberpunk universe. One called 'Night's Edge' and its other supplement 'Bloodlust' allowed for the inclusion of Vampires in cyberpunk
Night's Edge deals with just vampires (how to play as a fledgling, how to add them as enemies for high level edgerunners ect) while Bloodlust adds more lore, systems and mentions.... You guessed it..... Werewolves. (both fake cyberware kind and actual 'terminally furry', change under the full moon kind)
So....Garry may just be running with part of his brain in the tabletop game lol
That's what the girl who usually sits at the side said iirc yeah.
Miss 'you can spill Arasaka secrets! They gona find you!'
Having said that, what kinda suits?
MiB style or netrunner style?
It does. Gary and Blue Eyes have the same ring on their fingers.
I'm not sure if it ties in to Sandra Dorsett but it feels like it with the Night Corp stuff from her hard drive.
well, at least they had the decency to give him a niche in the columbarium....
(better than all the gangoons my Veronica flatlines, then stuffs in the nearest trashcan XD....Yes, she's crazy, but at least she tidies up after herself XD)
