Story Ending

I wasnt given the choice of ending? Were up on the roof, i toss the pills, and it just ends.
and, even tho i got a pop up that said i finished the main story, it is not in my acheivements?

The suicide ending has no achievement attached to it -- that'd be pretty dark.

If you pay attention to the messages in the end credits, the writers make it plain how they feel about that ending where you'll see a nearby scene and a gunshot to tell you exactly what you made V do. They ain't gonna give you no cheevo for that.
