take care choom
you can do all the endings in 1 playthrough
in the credits you get an option to "give it 1 another go" or something
you get placed back into the world at Nocturne Op55N1 infront of Hinakos meeting and you keep the extra items and cards you scanned and attained on the ending path you just did.
you can do them all except the new secret PL ending. that one doesn't let you continue for story reasons.
I don’t know what other better options are. 1. I had to show up to be witness, I wouldn’t trust that plan. 2. I would get Panam involved, but didn’t like that. 3. This is best option because Johnny offered to help, he and his gf knew what best, but damn, stupid weyland couldn’t cover our six, rogue and Johnny couldn’t even focus on mission, all they did was talk and talk, so people died. Mehhh! So amateur!
We could tell you, but you might want to avoid spoilers. I will say that not involving Panam is exactly why she left. That's kind of a big deal for her.
First Flashback you see what a mess Johnnys "Rescue" op was. Rogue needs to remind Johnny to keep his headphones on, suggesting he usually is such a mess that he believes he doesn't need to communicate with anyone during an OP.
We see Shaitan bite the dust and nobody cares... while Johnny first does nothing and then goes on to turkey shoot, which Shaitan, the guy they hired as their gunner, failed to accomplish.
Then Johnny plants a nuke... BEFORE he goes to upload to the server. Instead of doing it the other way around or be covered by his team. He lonewolves it against the wishes of his teammates.
The rescue mission for Alt is just as haphazard... at least the Alt Rescue Mission can be excused of being a time sensitive situation.
You are shown multiple times just how little Rogue is a capable person, but despite 0 chemistry with Johnny and Johnny being a D-bag towards in each and every interaction she still seems to do whatever he wants.. suggesting a very submissive personality by Rogue.
You also have the Bouncer of the Afterlife showing off just how jealous he is about Rogue dealing with you, suggesting that Rogue isn't the "queen" of the Afterlife, but a poser at best.
During the Panam quest Rogue also seems to be absolutely incompetent and useless. Not that Panam is appearing to be much smarter than Rogue... but basically the "help" you get by Rogue is being told where the guy that is trying to sell to her is going to show up. Meaning he contacted Rogue after he screwed over Panam. Panam even calls ahead to the guy she did business with to let him know not to buy Rogues shipment. So Panam knows where it's going and since it was going there for Rogue.. Rogue knows all about this. Naturally.
Ironically Panam also knows when and where the original hand over should happen, but never once seem to have considered that the guy still goes through with the Plan.
Rogues "help" for getting to the Maelstrom guy also isn't Rogue using her power and influence to let you walk through the front door... but her power and influence extends to being told where the long term hideout of the guy, who she has business dealings with.
That is a bit like you trying to get hold of the Plummer and she is like "i know that Plummer, i can get us to him"... and then she brings you to the yellow pages business adress and expects you to break and enter the premise, because nobody thought of calling ahead and setting up a business meeting.
Nothing you have been shown throughout the course of the game should give you any sort of confidence that Rogue is a good Fixer.. let alone able to run an operation.
The information she hands you are super basic and provide you with absolutely no help whatsoever.
The only "useful" bit of information you get is the Kang Tao transport, which she got from Nyx, the Afterlife Netrunner. So not her accomplishment either.
And then there are a couple remarks by Johnny about how Rogue needs to have sold out in order to keep the Afterlife going. That after his "death" Arasaka hunted them all down and the only reason an Afterlife still exists is because she must have cut a deal.
Giving Johnny the Wheel to go in with Rogue is very much presented as a suicide mission by Johnny and Johnny wishing to go out on his own terms and not as "passenger" of V. And he chooses to take the punching bag of a woman he abused all his life, along for the ride.
No idea how there is any professionalism to be expected here.
Yea, I thought that Johnny and Rogue would have been much “wiser” in some ways. Thinking back again, I could give Rogue a little excuse (she aged, she slowed down and she is a woman, sorry sounding little sexist but woman is just little different). Though, maybe Johnny got a little excuse too, he didn’t really grow because he didn’t have a “body”, whatever he has been after that “death” was just a “data”, so he stayed that way. He had only a month with V to change a little.
Reason that he had to pull Rogue into the last mission once more, just because he didn’t really have another choice. Rogue is just the best fixer of NC, she could plan, she could do everything from A to Z, she is the brain, and Johnny is nothing but a good idealist. You could doubt her, but in my opinion, her being resourceful is just too immense. Like, who else would have a high grade chopper, an insider connection from space, knowledge inside out of arasaka’s tower way down to mikoshi? She is just one woman, and that much she got is crazy.
His love for Rogue was never like one that he had for Alt. It was always like out of sympathy, and Rogue is just a sucker for baddest boy, she could never resist. Johnny didn’t get mad when Rogue got stabbed, killed as much as when he tried to save Alt.
Even though I blamed on their being amateur, I still think that Weyland should have been the one that got killed, because if he did, it meant that he actually did his job: covering Johnny and Rogue’s back when they were trying to open that damn gate. I didn’t know what the hell he was doing at that time.
But hey devs would never want that, because players wouldn’t care if Weyland got killed.
