I doubt they got rewarded. Although I hope they got. The whole narrative the game got steered to is soo grim dark that I doubt that, they live or they will stay alive, and the same goes for any character V interacted with basically.

Reed messages also confused me, I thought it was a translation mistake for latam spanish but now I see it isn't. I hope the to-do list is correct and they got paid or I'll be sad :c

Got a theory I cannot find in any searches. Could the answers be this simple?

Not many discussions on this. So hope this isn't treated as a necro, but figured peeps discussing in past wouldn't mind.

I just got a new theory because of something odd at an Air drop site. I reloaded past saves to verify on a new playthru. This Airdrop was odd though, and got me thinking and reloading a prior save to verify a shard I read.

So after Myers leaves, an airdrop lands right outside the abandoned place we are staying.

According to the log found at these drop sites, It says it is a bunch of supplies for the VDBs.

But weird. It was full of luxury stuff. I pulled out the booster shards, a fancy gun, and a temp capacity booster. But it is a really fancy jacket, black lace, and three stacks of luxury alcohol. Not VDB netrunning stuff like the pad says.

Then I am leaving the area, and something struck me as odd. There is a brand new, shiny without a scratch Herra Outlaw parks right at where the crate landed. IN DOGTOWN? Isn't my car!

This jogged my memory about a shard from earlier in the apartment, so I reloaded to make sure I wasnt mixing stuff up...

This airdrop is their drop. So they went to go get it and Bhargest got to them first. There is no VDB at this site. And the way bhargest was makes it seem like they got there second. No sign of the two of em. Will be doing some save reloading and see if I can find more at the site.

Unfortunately, the airdrop comes while I am coming down the elevator. I hear no gunshots. By time I get down and out, already Bhargest there. I cannot find any signs of bodies.

So at this time, I can assume they are alive and well. They ordered in shinies, and had to run.

Will keep my eyes open for more.
