Jesus, that's garbage. Glad I didn't give this crap game another chance...
It's a bittersweet ending for sure. Your friends, other than Reed, Viktor, and Misty seem to want nothing to do with you. Panam makes it about her and doesn't want to do anything with V. Even though the circumstances around V was tied up in a coma.
I am happy that V gets to live or is cured. But just wished they would have shown V in the future managing without the chrome. I actually thought there would be a way for V and Johnny to coexist without killing V in the process.
It is kind of depressing since CDPR has stated this is the only expansion or story dlc for this. Not sure if they would continue with V. It would have been nice since they had Geralt get 3 games to tell his story.
I was kind of depressed with the original endings. Even though the Nomad ending seem the most positive. But now I just feel even with this new ending, I just not sure if I want to play the game again?
The expansion is good and enjoyed it a lot, just left feeling the closure I wanted was not what I got. Sigh. Well off to play more happier game lol
Although this ending is bittersweet, it is by far the best ending for V because at least he/she gets to live their life this time, just means they can't become a legend anymore. I think it does a great job showing that although everyone was sad that you were presumed dead or "ghosted" they had to move on with their lives. Don't forget that V was in a coma for Two full years, it is 2079 when you wake up, panam has every right to be upset that you were gone for that long because although it wasn't your fault, it wasn't her fault either for assuming that her knowing you having a relic in your head that was going to kill you, that you died from said relic and didn't message her when you said "hey gonna be gone for maybe a month"
I don't know , liked the characters and all kinds of stuff in the DLC but for me its just as said , an ending that leads to nothing really . You become a ghost more or less in the history of cyberpunk . I kind of wished as has been said here that something else or greater happened instead .With all the " Magic " that the blackwall can manage you integrate or something in one body with Johnny maybe or even Song . You and a now AI version of him/her just go about doing what each other wanted but conjoined now or something .
It feels like they could have made it just MORE , in some way that really gave us some amazing choices, ending wise.
This did kind of bothered me that the NUSA basically didn't notify your friends or even pay for your rent. The fact that you saved the President and also you can save Songbird or atleast not kill her off in the core. Not sure how much rent was, Not that it matters since I did have a few other apartments that I purchased. But would seem that the Government would have take care of some of these issues while you were in a coma.
Obviously we can blame the writers here but, even if V was in a coma for 2 years, did everyone just decided to abandon ship so to speak.
Almost everyone you knew were too busy to see you.
Judy is married and moved to Europe.
River Ward sold valuable intel to save his nephew. Doesn't want to see because he hates himself.
Keyodine(sorry forget his name) On tour. Promises to meet up with you in 4 months.
Panam ignores your phone call and wants to be upset even though you are alive.
Viktor, even though he was most welcoming, was busy with customers. Also sold out to a corpo.
Misty closes up shop and runs into you but is off to go to some expedition or something.
It almost unbelievable that everyone just decides to leave because V just happen to disappear?
If a happy ending is that pointless I will go search for a rope and KMS rightaway hence searching and carving for happiness is in vain in life ultimately. In the sense of this game a good ending would be optional as there are multiple endings and there for people who needs that catharsis. (like me and many more)
