I made it sound worse than it was. It just meant that the voice actress wasn’t able to reprise her role for the DLC. As for the ending, it would’ve had more closure if our character actually spoke to Panam rather than hand waving it away to Mitch. Panam doesn’t seem like the type to not get a last word in, at least thats the way I see it; thats why some, I imagine, speculate that she died within those two years of V being comatose.
The voice actress for Panam IS in the PL expansion. There's several new voice lines added to the game specifically referring to the events of PL. CDPR's decision to make Panam disappear/ghost seems to be entirely narrative based, rather than logistical - remember their obsession with "bitter-sweet" as the only appropriate endings for Cyberpunk.
