neither songbird, nor myers, nor reed.
This. I can understand V rescuing Myers but after that it would very quickly reach the point where V realises that all of them are at some level out to back stab each other. Way too much history & baggage between the characters, way too dangerous a situation, way too easy to get caught up in the inevitable crossfire. Johnny is as usual pretty accurate with his foreshadowing. At some point the only logical path for V to follow would be to leave them all to their scheming and delta the f**k out of there.
(Also: she reminds me a lot of Billie Lurk for some reason - possibly character plus having a vaguely dishonored looking model)
Otherwise, all of them are lost and trying to cling onto something to give everything going on meaning and to survive. Willing to sacrifice whoever gets in the way to do that. "Someone else always pays the price" kind of a recurring theme. (And if you're really scratching at that, can ask how V is too different himself/herself if they murder , and get others killed, trying to get out of Night City for a small chance at living a bit longer.)
Aaand if in the way It happens that I free the AI apocalypse, idk but I`m kind of attracted to it xD
The expansion has several endings and rewards, just have a save for each one. I only did one ending, today I'll do another one calmly. And so far all the endings are epic.
I just don't really like the idea of a half-horror mission for a finale.lol
We need ´´Dont fear the reaper´´ for PL -To kill everyone
Yeah she does lie to you and manipulate you. But ultimately helping her is the right thing to do. I truly don't know how that's hard to grasp. Like she could have easily played you all the way into getting on the shuttle, she didn't have to tell you that the cure she promised was a lie. Which begs the very obvious question of why she does? It's not complicated she is a good person and she feels guilt over using you because she understands what V is going through. So then why does she lie and manipulate you in the first place? Because she doesn't see any other way, she has nobody she can trust, she has no friends, she has no family, she was forced to abandon her entire life by reed to work for NUSA, where Myers forced her to be her guinea pig for using the black wall, her body was mutilated in order to keep up with what Myers used her for. The reason she's on SF1 in the first isn't because Myers trusts her or thinks of her as an advisor it's because she's viewed as little more than a WMD and like any WMD she has to be on standby at all times. Her "life" is literally just following Myers around like a dog interrupted with the brief relief of being forced to destroy herself as a NUSA weapon. She lies to you and manipulates you yes, but what else could she have done? Like what truly matters in the end is that she does choose to trust you and tell you the truth, despite the fact that she knows it could cost her everything, and knows that she won't even be able to stop you at that point. So yeah turning her over to reed is a betrayal, one which no doubt solidly affirms why she shouldn't have ever told you the truth and why she was right that she can't trust anybody. Helping So Mi is the right thing to do even if it isn't the most beneficial to V, even if she lied to you.
