I just finished Phantom Liberty Story and I felt I have no purpose now...
Spoilers Ahead

After talking to Judy, I am heartbroken. Everything I did, is for us together. I've searching ways to save my life and this is how it ends? At this point, I'd just find some weapon and end my life as V. Or, worked as an assistant of Reed. Either way, there is no purpose of living anymore. I am really heartbroken.

Yeah, the Phantom Liberty Ending AKA 'NPC No Maidens' Ending is incredibly depressing.

It is only a worthwhile ending in my eyes if you go for a Romanceless Playthrough and are just looking out for V's self-interest.

The Star Ending with Panam is still your best ending, V may have only a short time to live but he/she saves Judy from Night City and gives her, Panam and the rest of the Aldecaldos Hope.

And Hope is perhaps one of the most powerful things you can be given in the dystopian world of Cyberpunk.

I feel like the next Cyberpunk 2, CDPR will gave us all the prologue choices, which ending do we want to choose. I'd choose leaving NC with Aldecaldos. And stay close with Judy. Hopefully there's more to come. If not, I'd just had nearly enough. I've played Cyberpunk because of Judy.

When Cyberpunk 2 comes out I highly doubt we will still be following V, it will most likely have a new main character with perhaps a reference to V somewhere in the game.

I think they will still continue where V's path left off because CPDR just set up an ending that leads to a sequel. Plus, Johnny's also speaks about the future about V's life. We all attracts to the V character and I don't think CDPR ignore that just so they remake an entire new story for different character.

Plus. this sequel would probably set in 2079.

I also prefer the Star ending with Panam; honestly, it feels like a different game with PL endings.

V only knew Judy and the rest of those friends (Rivers, Panam) for a couple of months and it's more of a grief relationship with Judy they share through the death of a friend. You're only witnessing the initial shock of the ending and not what happens in the next few months of V having their life back. There's really no need to be so down about it, it's an ending that has endless possibilities in how you imagine V to handle it from here.

She married someone. How can I not felt upset about it? Sure, she felt alone in those 2 long years, but... If Judy died, I won't romance anyone because my special person is always her.

Same here, the Star ending with Panam and with the added PL ending of sending Songbird to the moon.

Honestly seems like either
-CDPR wrote themselves into a corner and had to make V cut off ties with everyone
or
-They couldn't get the voice actors back for a significant amount of time and had to settle with cutting ties with everyone

Either one screams more laziness then actually good writing

yeah, i guess PL is more about wild AI escaping the black wall, less about V.

and even still, you only learn of the AI if you choose to help reed capture so mi the first time (and get chased by the ai robot) instead of trying to help songbird go to the moon...

i'm just checking all the boxes for achievements.

the best outcome for V is asking panam for help when the time comes,

but by far the memorable/emotional ending is the tear jerker ending is the worse outcome, asking arasaka for help.

i'm kinda frustrated with the vehicle purchases being bugged for me. there's 3 cars that i can't get. it says 2 are locked because i don't have enough street cred (i'm maxed) or need to do more vehicle deliveries (i've done like over 40), the 3rd just doesn't properly process the transaction and steals my money and doesn't give me the car.

The ending that really breaks me is with V, the male character. Panam doesn't even care about what V has to say. She showed herself to be selfish, prioritizing her own well-being over V's true feelings. And Mitch still uses the excuse "she opened up to you, but then this happened, and she closed off again," like it's nobody's damn business. She probably found someone else and played it off as if it's V's fault. The ending really moves me because it shows that the only ones genuinely concerned about V were Viktor and Johnny. It's better to die as a legend in Night City than as a nobody.

i mean, if you play the original game endings, asking panam's help = the best possible outcome proves different. the game just has a lot of endings that don't work out the way we want.

Honestly, I wish they allowed you to solo Arasaka, then ride off with Panam and the nomads. They should have allowed you to choose who you wanted to be with after soloing the end. Although, soloing then choosing Arasaka would be way out off line.
