Can we keep Meredith alive after Militech Chip hack ?

(So that she is not replaced by the other man from Militech and even killed...)

I passed a lot of levels and I don't want to start all over again, do a lot of missions, earn a lot of money, kill a lot of thugs from several gangs in the city, equip myself...etc.

the credit chip is just a easy option. you can keep the money and do it the hard way. she will be around if you do as she asks.

I misspoke or misunderstood you :

I hacked the credit chip a long time ago, so she can't trace her chip anymore, so even if I exterminate all the Maeltrom guys in this factory, will Meredith be there when I get out of there ?
(and not her colleague whom she suspected of being a mole)

it's odd ive run that mission so many times and ive never not shot Royce and Freed the old boss and kept the Miltech money. Though for some reason i always forget where the room with the mole information is and miss it. or dose the information only show up for Nomad V?

Me it's my first time, uh, in fact, I just finished it, but I chose the wrong side, I changed my mind, I prefer to side with Meredith and look for Brick, the elder boss, and I'm afraid I can't choose this option anymore, I can obviously exterminate the gang but according to a walkthrough I read, we couldn't keep Meredith alive anymore (for romance but also to know what could have as history with her and her corpo), ah and for information, I am an ex-Corp of Arasaka. (V-Corp)

I saw that I still have the original chip in my bag, and 2 copies of the pirated chip, I thought I could change my mind and give Royce the traceable chip, but apparently it's not possible... :/

You can crack the chip, just don't DISABLE the virus she puts on it. You can still copy it (gets you Synapse Burn IIRC) and then go do the deal in Meredith's way. When you crack the chip, just pay attention to the wording for which Breach Protocol you are doing. There are 2 options, Copy and Disable. Copy all you want, just don't disable, and you will still have your corpo mistress on your side.

That's exactly what I didn't do, I hacked everything without thinking about the consequences, it's my fault ! :(

Personally I take the chip, hack it, shoot Royce and find out who the mole is on the terminal.

That way I get her money, she gets her mole. Everybody happy ^^

It's still a bit of a pity that we can lose so easily and so early in the game, an important and above all romantic character, just because I didn't follow what she wanted to the letter (faithfully)... You must admit that the first approach of the character is not very "good", she was ready to put a bullet in my head anyway, she's a bit violent...

Yeah that's what I should have done but me I disabled the extra thing, the virus, thought about my hacking XP and also thought to profit from it in any way, in short -circuiting Meredith, until we meet again later for a sequel, but no, the game didn't plan anything like that, it planned to make her disappear as soon as you deactivate this "feucking" virus...!!! :(

If you don't use the virus on her chip, but still go loud against Maelstrom and kill them all, but also find out who the mole is, she'll still be out there and survive? Never did too many variants of that mission other than "kill Maelstrom" because screw those guys.

You should be fine though.

You can freely hack the chip and remove the virus to get 10k E$, before even getting to Maelstrom as it doesn't affect Meredith. The only thing that affects her fate is finding out who the mole is.

If you don't find out who the mole is, she will die. If you do however, she will be very happy and meet you later in the game.

So hack the chip, take the money, don't give it to Royce and just shoot him in the face when he pulls a gun on you. And then find who the mole is in the next segment of the factory. Meredith will be waiting for you outside afterwards.

So the answer to all these questions;
