Block Quickhacks for Street Races
Im sure others will disagree, but the Player can turn the Street Races in a Single Player Racing Game by hacking the other Cars.
Sure, i can (and have) win these Races with driving alone, but in the recent Game, i noticed that i can disable almost all Cars directly at the start line and with how fast the Hacking Points recharge, i can disable the rest looong before the Race is over.

In my Opinion, it shouldnt be possible in a Racing mini Game, to knock out the Competition that easily.
Btw. the Game doesnt notice this. After finishing the Race, the others are at the finish line too and in atleast one Race, Claire had some of the "they getting close" Lines, when between me and the other Cars were atleast 2km distance.

It's a single-player game? You can choose to not use Quickhacks, you can also choose not to use weaponized vehicles, etc...

as i said..... some will disagree^^ As you know, if something is implemented, Players will use (abuse) it. And why having racing Minigame, if you have something that will be used to make them non-challenging?

I hate to break it to you, but a pure Netrunner build already makes the entire rest of the game non-challenging. There's even a Cyberdeck specifically designed for hacking vehicles. It's a purposefully-designed game mechanic meant to be abused.

And in a single-player game, that's okay. The only person that cares is the player and sometimes a player wants the power-fantasy to beat someone with something other than the default skill required for a given-competition.

Hmm... i think i never had a situation, where i made a "pure" Build. More the generalistic Player. Throwing all skillpoints in one specific Scenario sounds ..... unbalanced XD

Yes! That's kind of the point -maxing out on Tech even puts V into cyberpsychosis.

There's a specific deck that lowers the RAM cost to hack vehicles and utilize cameras. You can even use hacked cars as mobile cameras, basically. You can do the same with any deck, it's just that one is specialized for that, um, interesting mechanic.
