Paging @silverbane7 for the best mod recommendations...
(also, this may be the wrong section of the forum to ask this question... I think it's intended to give suggestions rather than ask for them)
if it's clothing, you can't beat the gear that uses TweekXL and ArchiveXL.

ArchiveXL page.
just look in the 'requirements' drop down and you can see a loooong list of gear.
there is more if you are playing as Valerie than as Vincent, but many mods do both,
you also need those two for mods that add any chrome you install, anything new standalone you shoot or (i think) even drive.
you also need them for the custom places and locations.
for the photomode packs like AMM and pose packs (those stunning pics you see posed here on the art and screenshots pages)
there are a lot of custom reskins for vehicles and weapons.
there are also custom garage mods, and even mods that allow you to use the colourshift tech from the Rayfield on other cars.
if you are looking to change up your gameplay, you can install a few overhaul mods.
there are plenty of difficulty mods, tho some are more popular than others.

Lifepath bonuses and gang-corp traits mod
a difficulty mod that adds more to your lifepath than just your starting wardrobe and a few snarky comments from V.
each life knows some of the factions better than others, and gameplay reflects that.
so Corp V knows all the Corp factions well, along with the cops (i think). they deal more damage to Corpo's but loose out on rep, money and exp when fighting them.
where as if they go up against Scavs or gangoons, they hit weaker but get more rep, exp and money.
think of it as favoured factions, a bit like favoured enemies for rangers in tabletop DnD.
the gang-corp traits part changes up the way enemies in different factions work by giving them weakenesses and strengths to different things.
so a Maelstrom gangoon might be weak to electrical damage because they rely heavily on cyberware, but if you try to cut them up, they barely bleed for the same reason.

enemies of night city mod.
similar to the gang-corp mod, it's a difficulty mod that changes up enemies.
it changes similar things about the gangs but iirc, adds in mini-bosses a little like the ones you find in the 'increased criminial activity' spots.
the bosses have been overhauled, Smasher and Oda are harder to kill.
both of those mods reccomend that, if you have been used to 'hard' or 'Vhard' levels that you go down one level or so when you first start playing, since they are difficulty mods.

Hardcore22v2 mod
a rebalance difficutly mod, the 2.0+ replacement for the original hardcore22 mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/4325
hardcore44 mod.
same mod as hardcore22v2 but modified to be more like the modmaker prefers.
if survival is something you prefer, as in, 'i like to eat, drink and sleep'
(like survival mode in Fallout or Skyrim) then this one might be for you.

Dark Future - Urban survival
it's kind of a difficulty mod, because v has to eat, sleep, drink and chill out so the stress does not kill them. you can configure it to your liking tho, if things start to get too much.

stealthrunner mod
it overhauls the stealth gameplay loop so that V gets extras if you stealth your way thru gigs.
not just those ones that call for stealth, but any and all gigs that can be done that way.
ghost, unseen, no-touch, pacifist types of play are rewarded, and there are even perks, cyberwear and gear for being very good at it.
