Please add a working flashlight already
There is a flashlight in the Phantom Liberty DLC and it works perfect. Why we can't just have it permanently? Maybe give us a tiny lamp we can wear behind an ear or something. Something like earrings, or a choker, or a headband, or a hat. Just something. Or give us attachments for our weapons like flashlight/tactical light and laser pointer etc.

There MUST be a way to add flashlights in a way that is immersive. It's Cyberpunk after all.

And while you are at it, also add nightvision and thermal modes for the Kiroshi Optics.

I totally loved Version 2.12 and Phantom Liberty. Finally the game feels like an immersive world. Keep up the work, please don't abandon the game. There are still small things you can add to the game.

It's a mod solution, but a solution nonetheless

And this is Nightvision integrated into Kiroshi

I use both of these and have for years. They're both stable, lore friendly, and pretty useful.

I know about the mods, thanks.
But it should be in the basegame, without any mods.

I sort of agree for some areas. Heck even Fallout had the glow from your pitboy.

I agree with the OP, its supposed to be Cyberpunk, the fact that there is no nightvision or thermal vision optics is a massive oversight and immersion breaker. And there isn't even a torch so you can't see a damn thing in some dark areas. wtf? What RPG has no torch in it? Doesn't make any sense

The only problem a flashlight would cause, is that the A.I has to react to it in stealth situations. That could be tricky to code, but it shouldn't take too much time to find a solution for that. And if they can't put a flashlight into the game, then they could still add a nightvision and maybe thermal vision to our kiroshi optics. I mean then they really don't have to touch much code.

The real problem is gamepad button limitation, obviously.

No that is not a problem they could assign it to holding down the right control stick button. If you press it shortly you do pistol whips, but if you hold it down even now nothing happens. They could easily assign it to hold RS.

Pretty much, Both mods don't work on controllers very well. I wish they would let us map the middle button that doesn't do nothing on PC...

I could never get Steams Hold Key prompt to work right. (so touchy for No mans sky, and Conan Exiles when you wanna set up extra keys)

CDPR making a flashlight, and integrating proper controls via Hold Key would just be outstanding.
This way its always supported and one less Mod I need babysit when Update Happens.

Foot Step Audio Sliders

Gun Attachment Changes. (CDPR doesn't seem to understand how guns work.. Its often just a button or notch for red dots... Most Supp's screw and tab on. )
Not mention Suppressed Revolvers/Shotguns are a thing. (Revolvers require good machining, you can't do it to everyone)

Equipment EX should be a thing, and CDPR can add Waist/Leg/Arm band slots for Tech stuff.

I feel like there alot of small mods, that should be ported as official options.
Sliders for Attrbuite req, Tracer/Net Runner rule sets.

Gun Flash Lights, or Night vision sights/

Try tuning your HDR settings, the default tuning is not configured for OLED screens, which may be a major issue on your part - especially since OLED is naturally less bright then other HDR screens.

If tuning the HDR settings is not enough, there is a mod for adding a flashlight, but know it will impact visual quality because it'll wash away a lot of the light interplay across night city.
