No force field or shield builds?

This game is incredible! Easily one of the best scifi games this decade, for sure.
CDPK really needs to add force field and shield mechanics!
Also for large scale battles, there should be a reinforcement or reserve forces limit. If the reserve forces are depleted after most of your forces are dead, the mission is failed. I think the large scale battles need goal oriented time limits. Along with point capture and holding mechanics.
