[CARS] Can we get manual gear/toggle function? (and car vendors!)
...or whatever it's called.

Basically I want to be able to cruise around listening to Night City radiostations, at an adequately low and manageable speed, without having to:

- constantly tap W, but also try not to tap too much so I don't go too fast...yeah, gets tedious and annoying for my wrist/joints

- constantly have the music interrupted by the engine revving

If my car has a top speed of 150mph and 5 gears, then I should be able to cruise at max 30mph by simply pressing 'W' once (gear 1) or something like that.

your best option is a controller. Driving a car using a keyboard is always going to be bad, because a keyboard doesn't have sensitive keys, unlike controllers with sensitive triggers. You can plug a controller and switch between them when driving a car.

I have no trouble driving with mechanical keyboard (red switches). And if you have problem with audio levels maybe check audio settings. There's separate slider for music. But still it would be nice to have manual (becouse of taking turns with high speed) but remember it is a RPG game not some Forza or NFS.

Thing is, I've set voice, music and radio on 100%, but sound effects on 70%, and still it feels overpowering compared to the music. But I also don't want to turn it all the way down, because that then becomes a bit immersion-breaking.

You're of course right about CP2077 not being a Forza or Gran Turismo or whatever, I don't play that type of game anyways. But since the game does offer a big city with lots of eye-candy, it would just be nice to be able to cruise around at a slow speed, without having to tap the "forward" button constantly, you know?

I wish they would add cruise control. I also would love to be able to just drive at NPC speeds and enjoy the immersion, without constantly going;

W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W_W :D

Exactly, and a similar auto-pilot function during dialogue scenes with Jackie or Panam where you have to follow them while talking would be neat as well....
