Flashlight or Night Vision Optic for eyes?
I'm hating how dark some places are and I cant see anything.. you'd think in a futureish game we'd have night vision at least...

you need to adjust your monitor, but also nightvision is your scanner.

But... you can't do a lot of things in scanner mode. I just wish we have 'enhanced optic' mode toggle where we can see things clearly with our cyberoptics. (lighting darkness, dimming extreme bright, highlighting visible contour of object of interest, kinda like HALO: ODST low light mode.)

yeah, NV or a flashlight would help for a number of areas

Yes the gamma correction in this game isnt doing it for me. So far the only game I can recall that makes my screenshots come out extremely dark. I don't really want to fine tune my monitor for this game alone when my gamma/brightness/contrast settings work great in the other 28 games that I have. :yennefer:

Scanner's 'nightvision' seems to make sight even darker. So that's a no-go.

It's really not.

The rifle scopes have enhanced lightning so modders if mod tools ever come will solve that.

I mean without modders the game will die for sure so I sure do hope those tools will be coming.

+1. It would be nice to have eye implants to toggle night vision, thermal, normal vision.also allow us to pick things up with scanner mode active

... Or maybe CDPR could give us the basic settings that gamers have been enjoying for 2 decades now and put in some brightness / Gamma options.

Just sayin'

Eyes that track heat signatures like the predator would be awesome too. Just having more options, even if they are kinda niche, is better in my opinion

Scanner is not usable as a night shot vision
Very dark areas are still dark

nightvision might work, but i think they didn't include a flashlight because they are trying to expand ray tracing. something like a flashlight could pretty easily cripple performance under the right/wrong circumstances

and to do it right without rtx enabled, they would have to do a ton of manual tweaking to get it to not look terrible

I've been reading the CP 2020 sourcebooks recently. Yesterday I was going thru the Chromebooks.
There's actually flashlight fingertips in there. LOL
And both IR and night vision have been there forever. It's ridiculous that they aren't included. Both as a cybereye option and goggles.
